CDF Panel, short for Compact Density Fiberboard, commonly known in the industry as 2nd-generation compact laminate. It is manufactured by pressing wood fibers with thermosetting resin under high temperature and high pressure in one piece. The core is black with a density of over 1000kg/m³, and both sides are hot-pressed with melamine decorative surfaces. It is a widely used panel for toilet partitions.

The panel features a homogeneous and solid structure with low water absorption and expansion rate, delivering excellent moisture and mildew resistance, ideal for high-humidity environments such as restrooms. Its dense, non-porous surface resists urine stains and cleaning chemicals; dirt can be wiped off effortlessly, preventing grime buildup and bacterial growth. The board is impact-resistant and scratch-resistant with superior workability. It supports CNC irregular cutting and rounded chamfering, making it perfect for kids’ toilet partitions and urinal screens in kindergartens.
Important Distinction：CDF ≠ HPL Compact Laminate (traditional 1st-generation compact laminate made of multi-layer kraft paper). CDF uses wood fiber as substrate with better processability. Its price is generally between PVC foam board and traditional HPL compact laminate. It has become a popular choice for public toilet and kindergarten partitions in recent years.
